A big thank you to Ilana (Benjamin’s Gordon mom) for coming to the Red Apples class and doing a fun and festive getting ready for Summer project! Ilana had the kids decorate a picture frame that the kids were able to take home and fill with any photo of their choosing. Ilana also thought of a great idea on how to remember everyone from this school year, and this was by making class of 2018 t-shirts! Ilana and the kids each took a red t-shirt (red for red apples) and painted on the numbers 18 to represent the year of 2018 and they also put their hand print filled with yellow paint on the shirt as their special seal of approval. Towards the end of the project, Ilana and Ben surprised the kids with donuts to eat for snack time and donuts for the teachers to snack on as well! We thank Ilana for spending time with us here at the Apple School and we appreciate you getting all of us tin the summer spirit as the season approaches us!
