The Apple School Pajama Party
The Apple School Pajama Party on Incredible Kid Day was a blast for all the kids to enjoy! The kids flocked to school with smiles from ear to ear strutting their favorite pajamas with designs like superhero’s, unicorns, and Disney characters. All the kids were comparing pajamas and walking around like they were models in a fashion show. The classes got busy with pajama making activities like custom pajama decorating and coloring! During snack time, the kids enjoyed a yummy assortment of fruits and snacks provided by the parents and Apple School. We appreciate all the parents help in getting the kids ready for Pajama Day and look forward to many more fun filled activities like this throughout the year!
Celebrating Valentines Day!
All of the Apple School classes got in to the fuzzy loving mood and spent the week doing plenty of holiday projects and activities! Here are some photos of the incredible Apple School children during their fun time. The mood was bubbly and the energy was delightful as so many of the kids brought shareable cards, treats, balloons, and more for their friends to enjoy! It was a truly a happy experience shared by all, teachers and students both, as the exchanging of the treats and compliments on this love filled day were happening! The Apple School loves and appreciates all of our students, teachers, parents, and families and know that we love you all not just on Valentines Day but all 365 days throughout the years! Love Apple School!
A big Thank You to Irina Oransky (Alexis’ mom) for coming to Apple School and doing a fantastic Valentines Day project with the Red Apple kids!
Ira and the kids made funny and decorative heart shaped faces with foam stickers and the kids had an absolute blast! Each child got to create their own unique heart shaped face to show in front of the whole class and to take home for their friends and family to see. Ira did a great job explaining all the steps and pieces to the kids and the kids loved doing the project with her. At the end of the project, Ira and Alexis handed out Valentines Day candy and treats for the kids to take home with them which got the kids in an even more ecstatic mood! The Red Apple kids cant wait to have Ira come back and do another wonderful project with them. We appreciate Ira taking the time to spend the loving mood of Valentines Day with the Apple School kids! As always we encourage all parents to come in and spend time with your child in their classroom by doing a project, a lesson about something important to you, or by giving the kids a description of your job and the work you do. Warm wishes, big hugs, and lots of love from the Apple School!
What a wonderful performance from the Apple School’s Red Apple class at the Sherman Oaks Rehabilitation Center!
What a wonderful performance from the Apple School’s Red Apple class at the Sherman Oaks Rehabilitation Center! The kids delivered a heartfelt performance for the often forgotten elderly at the center and had them all clapping and smiling from ear to ear to see these incredible kids sing and dance for them. In the audience were the amazing parents of the kids who took time to bring the kids for the show and the center’s staff members who also got a moment of delight in the middle of their busy day of working with patients all day long. It was truly a blissful experience for all who were there to view it and really filled the room with the love and care.

We wish you all health, prosperity, and plenty of memories shared throughout these 8 wonderful days of Hanukkah and for this entire holiday season. Hanukkah gives us an amazing holiday spirit that is best shared with the people around us and the Apple School is so thankful to spend it with the best children and families that we could ask for. Thanksgiving projects with YANA at APPLE SCHOOL
A big thank you to Yana Kotlerewsky (Maya’s mom) for coming in to the Red Apples class and doing an amazing pair of thanksgiving projects. Yana and her son Adam who is also our wonderful Apple School graduate and alumni came to celebrate and get into the spirit of family, togetherness, and happiness that is the Thanksgiving holiday. Adam and Yana explained that corn is a traditional Thanksgiving side dish and an important crop to the Pilgrims and Native Americans. After their bright corn, the kids also indulged in creating some fall leaves with tissue paper and plates. Here they were able to make their very own fall leave to get into the seasonal and colorful spirit of our November month. The kids had a blast being with Yana and Adam as Yana has been a part of our Apple School Parent Project program for years now and we call her a true veteran of the process! The kids loved seeing their friend Adam and the overall enthusiasm that they brought to the kids and our class and we are so happy that they were able to celebrate in the happiness with us! Yana and Adam did not leave without making the kids jump for joy again, because they left the kids with nut and dairy free cookies and snicker doodles for all of them to enjoy! We thank the Kotlerewsky family for being such a connected and active family by doing projects and giving the kids to love coming to school even more every time they see you. On behalf of the Kotlerewsky and Apple School, we wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving holiday!
What a wonderful PAJAMA DAY at APPLE SCHOOL!!!
All of the kids dazzled in their amazing pajamas and greeted one another with big hugs and compliments. The teachers even got into the pajama spirit by wearing their own pajamas which the kids were so excited about. We had so much fun with our pajamas at school and we started the whole day off by having our own Pajama Fashion Show! All the kids at the school got to see what pajamas each child was wearing as we all gathered in the Red Apples class to do so. The kids all clapped and cheered for everyone’s pajamas and the mood was instantly set for the joy that was occurring for the day! We put on fun music for the kids to dance around in their pajamas and also picked some of the kids favorite pajamas which the kids loved being apart of. The kids then got to have a real pajama experience by watching the “Minions” movie in their pajamas! After the movies, the kids got to sit down and eat organic movie popcorn after their lunch, and this was something the kids were looking forward to all day! Among the numerous festivities, plenty of children also brought cookies and other sweets for their friends to enjoy! The kids and families were so generous by bringing the treats and they were so happy to bring them for their friends to share. Towards the end of the pajama day the kids were able to open their new toys for the schoolthat were gifted to them by the Bash family! We will be using these toys and activities in many of our lessons so the kids were so happy to be opening a new addition to our activities. We’ve had a blast with the Apple SchoolPajama Party and thank all the kids and teachers who participated with full support and thank the parents for getting their kids so ready and excited for this day! Happy Pajama Party Day at Apple School!
